Nearly 140,000 tons of cement produced in the country was exported by ship from Durres to other countries. Cement “made in Albania” is the main material on the list of exports from the port of Durres to the Mediterranean ports during the first 9 months of this year.
Meanwhile, coke coal with over 157,000 tons and wheat with about 132,000 tons are first position in the list of imported goods that have arrived at the port of Durres during January-September 2018.
According to the APD Sector of Statistics, it is also learned that the processed melamine in Durres during these nine months amounts to 60 thousand tons, over 60 thousand tons of sheet iron same for nitrates and chemical fertilizers, 25 thousand tons of iron, 72 thousand tons of imported cement, etc.
Data from the Sector of Statistics in APD shows that export-import vessels and ferries over the period January-September 2018 amount to over 2.7 million tons of goods, of which approximately 68 percent belong to imports and the rest to exports.
