January-April 2019: In the Western Terminal, 50.000 tons of goods processed more than the previous year May 8th 2019

In  the General Cargo Terminal at  Durres Port, during  the  first  four  months of  this year, 91 merchant ships have been processed with a total of over 250 thousand tons of  freight.

At  the  DPA  Information Center, it  is  learned that  the volume of  processed goods in January-April this year is nearly 50,000 tons higher than the same period of 2018, during which only 77 vessels were processed.

In the Western Terminal ( commonly known as the General Cargo Terminal), mainly imported goods such as wheat, cement, sheet iron, agricultural chemicals, melamine, iron and glass have been processed.

The General Cargo Terminal is administered by Durres Port Authority.
