In the first 6 months of this year, Durrës – Bari and Durrës – Ankona return ferries have transported more goods and fewer passengers than in January- June period of 2017.
According to the APD Statistical Sector Data, ferries departing or arriving in Durres were attended by about a quarter of a million passengers, while they have also transported over 443 thousand tons of freight.
From the same source, it is also learned that the ferries have carried 450 roundtrips in 6 months, with a volume of 9 percent more cargo than the same period of 2017. Apart from nearly 25 thousand autocars, the ferries in these 6- months have also transported some 20,000 trucks and trailers.
