More than 55 % of import and export goods processed in the Port of Durres during the first quarter of this year are directed / arrive straight from the ports of Russia, Turkey and the US.
According to the Statistics Department at the Durres Port Authority, 27% of trade exchanges by vessels and ferries between January and March 2019 were conducted with Russia, 17 % with Turkey and another 14 % with ports in the US.
Malta (9%), Egypt and Italy (6%) are ranked behind them, and Greece, Tunisia, Libya, Colombia, Ukraine etc. are further listed in the list of volumes for processed goods of import and export.
81 % of the processed goods during the 3 months for export, were bound for Malta, while 12 % towards Italy.
